The Hispanic War Veterans of America (HWVA) is a 501 (c) 19 nonprofit national veterans organization licensed in January 2004 in the Commonwealth of Virginia. HWVA serves as the voice that speaks for Hispanic and other veterans seeking assistance in accessing their veterans’ benefits and that identifies and sponsors legislation that addresses veterans concerns and needs. The HWVA seeks to present a united front for Hispanic veterans and their comrade-in-arms that is inclusive and that genuinely puts veterans rights and concerns first.
 

 

Mission: To ensure that Hispanic and other veterans and their families have full access to veteran benefits accorded by federal and state laws as well as full access to business and educational opportunities.

 

Vision: A unified and informed Hispanic veterans community that provides the necessary leadership for the entire Hispanic veterans community in the 21st century and beyond.
